Who Am I Empty Who Am I

I just thought it would be nice to state who I am, and what my goals are, both professionally and for this site.

I am currently 20 years old, and am a 4th year at the University of Virginia. I have been dancing for two years now, and began competing in Rhythm, Latin, Standard, and Smooth. I haven't competed throughout the summer, but have spent extensive time training in the International styles. Competitions (for me) resume in mid-October, and I will be competing with my lovely partner in Gold/Novice/Prechamp Standard (the first two where available, and only Prechamp if double register is allowed and there is no Novice category) and Silver/Gold Latin (The former if only one is allowed, but both if double registration is permitted).

Whereas I dance and enjoy both Standard and Latin, I know that I am 'a standard guy'. When I dream of dancing, and consider where to take my career, it is always difficult to not envision myself as a Standard dancer. My love of Latin is growing, so I will not exclude 10-dance as a possibility just yet.

As far as dance aspirations, I am interested in taking my dancing as far as possible, with the 'end goal' of teaching competitive dance. Naturally I will only be able to teach at a level below the state at which my dancing progresses to, so what level that is is still quite questionable.

I am currently studying for various ISTD exams, and plan on taking the first wave of those in Spring/Summer 2011. I am currently studying independently, but will start training for the exams with a teacher in December.
